Diocese of Toronto - Anglican Church of Canada

St. Mark’s is a Parish of the Trent Durham Episcopal area of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto. You may donate through weekly envelopes placed on the collection plates. Envelopes are available from the Church Office. PAR (PreAuthorized Remittance) is a convenient way of donating, helps the church with cash flow. Your monthly giving is automatically debited from your bank account. Forms to register for PAR are at the back of the church or the Church Office.

Friends of St Mark’s includes past parishioners, members of St Mark’s Heritage Foundation and other members of the community loosely associated with St. Mark’s for a variety of reasons. These Friends support social and fund-raising functions and thus receive our newsletter and updates on our events and programs. If you would like to be included in this notification list, please send your contact information to the Church Office to be included on the list. Note this list is held strictly confidential and not shared externally not even with the Diocese.

St Mark’s Heritage Foundation

The St. Mark’s Heritage Foundation is a federally registered charitable foundation with only one objective to raise funds that will be used solely for the preservation of the St. Mark’s Church building. While the Foundation works closely with the Church executive in determining preservation projects it will fund, it is independent of the Church and the Anglican Diocese of Toronto.

Summer Art & Music Camp

Join our Outreach and Social Justice Team, help with the Tuesday Salvation Army lunches, assist our archivist in preserving the history of St Mark’s, become a member of one of our Choirs, support our Pancake suppers, bazaars, sales and Christmas events, help out with our proposed Children’s program or the Summer Art & Music Camp. There’s always lots to do and money isn’t always the answer. You will be most welcome.

The endowment was established with $50,000 generously given by the Reverend Canon Graham Cotter and the late Evelyn Cotter. The endowment is intended to ensure the presence of a full-time priest so that St Mark’s remains a place of worship into its third century. Donations of any amount are matched by the Cotter fund, thus doubling the amount and are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
