Mass Cards: We have lost over half of the Mass cards originally ordered. PLEASE do not take the cards home, do not stuff them into bulletins or books, do not put them in the book racks, or throw them away. The cards are not one-time use items, and they do cost money. After each service, place the card on the pew seat so we can easily see and collect them. The choir is asked to use their booklet copies and not the cards. Thank you for your cooperation.

Training in the Sexual Misconduct Policy of the Diocese. All parish volunteers are expected to attend a session every three years.  Those in high risk positions, that is those working with children, vulnerable adults or finances, are required to attend.  I want to clarify that it is not about police screening, although some of you may need to take that further step. The workshop is tentatively booked for Sat. April 27th at 2:00 pm. It lasts, depending on discussion, about an hour and a half.  If you cannot attend, there will likely need to be a further workshop later in the year. This training must occur for a parish to be in compliance with the diocese and our insurer. Ann Smith will be in touch with those who must attend.

Easter Flowers: The Chancel Guild will again decorate the church for Easter Sunday. Envelopes for your donation to help cover the costs are now in the pews. Your donation may be in memory of a loved one or family and in recognition or celebration. Contact Susan Abell for more information.

Town Hall Meetings With Bishop Asbil. Our diocesan bishop will hold a series of town hall meetings to hear and discuss issues confronting parishes in the diocese. No formal agenda, the goal is open dialogue.

  • St. James Cathedral, Toronto: Wednesday, May 1, 2.00 pm.
  • St. Andrew, Scarborough: Thursday, May 2, 7.00 pm.
  • St. Paul, Uxbridge: Saturday, May 4, 2.00 pm.
