Wednesday Eucharists are at St. John’s in November, 10:00.
Prayer Book Evensong will be led by the Cantate Singers (previously known as the Junior Choir) on Wednesday, November 6 at 4:30 p.m.
Centering Prayer is held on Thursdays, 3.00 in the mezzanine.
Eucharist & Pot Luck—November 13, 5.15 pm.
Our adult choir would welcome a tenor and a bass (or two or three!). Randy Mills would be happy to contact anyone as well – just let him know!
In time for Remembrance Day, David Brooks has filled the display cases with a tribute to the war years. Do take a look ! Information relating to members of the congregation who have served since the War of 1812 can be found on top of the cabinets”.
Green Wood Coalition Dinner — St. Mark’s will be providing the food for the on Wednesday, November 6th. The menu this time will be beef or chicken stew, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salads and desserts. If you can provide food for this dinner, please sign-up on the sheet at the back of the church. Food should be delivered to St. John’s Parish Hall by 5:45 p.m., November 6.

Following a very successful bazaar, our next major fundraiser is Christmas at St. Mark’s, now a 2-day event starting Friday, 22 November 7:00-9:30 pm and Saturday, 23 November 9:00 – 2:30 pm in the parish hall; it features 22 artists and artisans from Northumber- land and area. Gift basket raffle. Free Admission. Please sign the volunteer list posted at the back of the church. All help is much appreciated.

The Giving Tree
St. Mark’s is continuing our annual support of The Giving Tree. You will find in the pews a special offering envelope. We ask you to please prayerfully consider helping the Salvation Army and 20 community agencies within Northumberland County by giving a monetary donation towards the purchase of food and toys for Christmas. If donating by cheque please make payable to St. Mark’s, with “The Giving Tree” on the memo line.
