Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and the Common Cup–If you have concerns regarding Covid-19 and the common cup, there are two choices for you. 1. You may receive the bread alone. Communion in either species (bread or wine) alone is considered a full communion. You need not consume both in order to receive a full communion. 2. You may choose to have the celebrant intinct (dip the wafer into the wine) for you and place it on your tongue. While The Diocese of Toronto generally discourages intinction, it is permissible for the celebrant to intinct for a communicant in special circumstances.

Eucharist & Pot Luck–Wednesday March 11. A sign-up sheet is posted at the back of the church today. Also see the posters around the church. Eucharist at 5.15 pm. Pot Luck Supper following.

In the Lady Chapel, two tablets depicting winged cherubs (putti) have been hung on either side of the Virgin Mary and Child porcelain tablet, an installation given by Bob Fair in memory of his late wife, Nancy.  The putti, stored under the altar for many years, now enjoy a visible place among the spiritual artifacts of our parish.  Our thanks to Peter Goering, who installed them so promptly.

Kitchen Users & RecyclingWe are doing a lot better now as we adjust to recycling our kitchen garbage in the right containers.  However, do take a moment to be sure you’ve got it right! Mixing it up any old how defeats the purpose as that whole bin will be rejected and go to land fill.

DON’T FORGET FOOD SHARE!!!  Thank you to all who support Food Share Food Bank by leaving donations of packaged foods, tinned goods, peanut butter, condiments, pet food, and hygiene supplies in the basket near our front door.  The need is great and we have been commanded to help.

When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat.  (Matthew 25:35)
