St. Mark’s FaithWorks Campaign

FaithWorks is the annual appeal of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto. Since 1996 FaithWorks has provided more than $24 million to Anglican-affiliated ministries.  Your gift enables Ministry Partners to provide help and hope to thousands of individuals and families locally, as well as aid efforts in the developing world and in remote communities in Canada’s far north.  An information envelope, with your name on it, is available at the back of the church. Food for Thought

O Father, give us the humility which recognizes its ignorance, admits its mistakes, recognizes its need, welcomes advice, accepts rebuke. Help us always to praise rather than criticize, to sympathize rather than discourage, to build rather than to destroy, and to think of people at their best rather than at their worst. This we ask for thy name’s sake  (Prayer of William Barclay)

When you pray, rather let your hearts be without words, than your words without a heart.    — John Bunyan
