We welcome to our parish today, the Right Reverend Rischylla Shaw, are bishop of Trent-Durham. You are invited to an embellished coffee hour after the service to meet and greet our area bishop.

Taize Eucharist in Summer

Taize Eucharists are scheduled for June 17, July 22 and August 26 (note change in July date). These will be meditative in style and consiste of Taize chants and songs, two or three short readings, a brief reflection, periods of silence, and communion.

Morning Prayer

This week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9:30 am in the rectory.

Centering Prayer

Thursday, 3:00 pm in the mezzanine.

Wednesday Eucharist

Each Wednesday at 10 am. At St. Mark’s in June.

Choral Evensong

Will be led and sung by the Junior Choir on Wednesday June 6 at 4:30 pm.

Flower Donations and Commemoration of the Departed

Payers for the dead–like any other prayer said at the liturgy –are prayers of the entire parish community; they are said for ALL the departed whether we personally knew the deceased prayed for by name or not. Prayers for the departed are not private prayers. This being the case, weekly prayers for the dead are not written in a way that draws undue attention to either a deceased person or the giver of Sunday Flowers.
